This is me! I have 25 years of experience treating biomechanical and skeletal conditions and complaints. Osteopathic treatment is an intelligent, integrated manual therapy that works with the whole body, so I can meet you where you are, on any given day.

It is a hands-on form of physical therapy that may assist with pain management and rehabilitation by supporting optimal postural alignment and function. Osteopathic manipulative treatment is safe and effective for the whole family: from the youngest to the oldest, in pregnancy and post natal - even for your furry-family members!

Jan 2026 New Practitioner in O'Connor!

Origin Osteopathy has a new Osteopath joining the O'Connor practice

Rory's hours are Mondays 8am - 4pm and Wednesdays 10 - 6pm

Dr Rory Richardson is an energetic and compassionate Osteopath who loves helping people move better and feel their best. He holds a Master of Health Sciences (Osteopathy) from Victoria University and has completed extensive additional training across manual therapy, rehabilitation and holistic care.

Rory enjoys working with people from all walks of life - athletes, pregnant women, older adults, children and individuals with disabilities. He tailors each treatment to the individual combining hands-on techniques with movement guidance, exercise advice and education to support lasting results.

Known for his kind-hearted and approachable nature, Rory takes time to listen and understand his patients' needs. He enjoys seeing people regain confidence in their bodies, whether recovering from injury, managing pain or striving to stay active and healthy. His primary goal is to help each patient enhance function, reduce discomfort and improve their overall quality of life - empowering them to take an active role in their own wellbeing.

Treatment Fees.

Please note from January 1st 2026 there will be a small increase in fees as follows:

Initial/Follow-up consultation: $140.00 (45 minutes).
Concession: $130.00 (45 minutes)

Medicare Plans: $125.00 rebate is currently $61.80 unless medicare threshold reached, in which case it will be more.

Origin Osteopathy is a private billing practice; rebates are available for private health and medicare care plans (no bulk billing available). Insurance and Workers' Comp Claims should be discussed with the Practitioner directly.
